EFNEP Funding
The FNEC Team, working in collaboration with a fiscal committee, recommended funding strategies of EFNEP within New York State.
The recommendations from the committee will be posted shortly.
Association allocations and program expectations are, as has historically been the case, including in the Letter to the Directors, which is provided during the summer to association Executive Directors.
Within New York State, associations, New York City, and regional programs must submit Budget Projections (due July 15) and Actual Expenses (due December 1). These documents allow campus to report to the USDA-NIFA office the intended and actual uses of EFNEP funds within the state.
At the same time, Letter of Intent (due July 15th) and Annual Report (due December 1) provide the necessary documentation of the programs delivery throughout the corresponding time period.
